Untz: King of the Dancefield

Grab a friend and face off in an extreme dance-off for the title King on the Dancefield! Eliminate your opponent by hitting him with your dance moves until he falls off the disco floor floating in space acting as your battlefield.

Made during Spring Game Jam 2018, organized by LiU Game Jam, based on the theme Extreme-Dancing King.

Playing instructions

The game is turn-based with simultaneous turns for both players. Each turn consists of a planning phase and an execution phase.

During the planning phase, both players choose up to two out of six possible dance moves available that turn. The time for choosing is limited though.

During the execution phase, each player's chosen dance moves are executed in order of choosing. Both players have their first moves executed simultaneously and likewise for their second moves.

Each dance move can move the player executing the move and/or deal damage to the other player. How each move works is explained using the following three symbols:
